1/ So sánh số lần:
Dùng so sánh bằng và số lần để trước so sánh.
Eg: I am twice asheavy as you. (Tôi nặng gấp 2 lần bạn)
Có thể dùng với BY FAR, THE SECOND, THE FIRST trước so sánh nhất để nói rõ về sự chênh lệch giữa đối tượng đứng nhất với các đối tượng khác. 
6/ Có thể dùng các cấu trúc sau đây với danh từ để so sánh: more of a, less of a, as much of a và enough of a.
He is more of a sportman than his brother.
It was as much of a success as I expected.
He’s less of a fool than I thought.
He’s enough of a man to tell the truth.
2/ Loại 2 mệnh đề :
Cấu trúc này có nghĩa là : càng .... thì càng......
CÔNG THỨC:
The + so sánh hơn + mệnh đề , The + so sánh hơn + mệnh đề
So sánh hơn có thể được nhấn mạnh bằng cách thêm much / far / a lot / lots / a good deal / a great deal (nhiều) hoặc giảm nhẹ bằng cách cộng thêm a bit / a little / slightly (một chút) vào trước hình thức so sánh.
- So sánh nhất có thể được nhấn mạnh bằng cách thêm almost (hầu như) /much (nhiều) / quite (tương đối) by far / far (rất nhiều) vào trước hình thức so sánh.
3. Khi nói về 2 người hoặc sự vật:
Cấu trúc 1: the + comparative the + comparative(càngthì càng)
Ví dụ: The older you get, the more difficult you become.
          (Càng già anh sẽ càng trở nên khó tính)
Cấu trúc 2: the less + adj  the less + adj (càng ítthì càng ít; càng kém thì càng kém)
Ví dụ: The less cold it is, the less well I am.
          (Trời càng ít lạnh tôi càng không khỏe mạnh).
 Cấu trúc 3: the more + S + V, the more + S + V
Ví dụ: The more I know him, the more I like him.
          (Càng hiểu về anh ấy, tôi càng thấy quý mến).
4.  SO SÁNH BỘI (MULTIPLE COMPARIONS) 
Công thức:           multiple numbers + as + much / many / adj / adv + as
Ví dụ: She types twice as fast as I do.
         (Cô ấy đánh máy nhanh gấp hai lần tôi).

1. SUBJECT FOCUS (NHẤN MẠNH CHỦ NGỮ)
It + is/ was + subject (chủ ngữ) + that + verb (động từ): chính ai đó làm

à It is my mother that loes me most.(chính mẹ là người yêu tôi nhất)
2. That man stole my wallet. (người đàn ông đó đã trộm cái ví tiền của tôi)
à It was that man that stole my wallet. (chính người đàn ông đó đã trộm cái ví tiền của tôi)
