I. Mô tả giải pháp: 
1. Hiện trạng 
Xuất phát từ thực tiễn trong việc đổi mới dạy và học Ngọai Ngữ, kỹ năng viết là một trong 
những yếu tố quan trọng. Hơn thế nữa, trong đề thi học sinh giỏi qua các năm, Sở cũng rất 
chú trọng phần này và luôn có một bài viết khoảng từ 180- 200 từ. Đối với học sinh khá 
giỏi chuyên Anh, các em cũng đã tương đối làm quen với viết, tuy nhiên với học sinh lớp 
10 các em cũng còn nhiều khó khăn bỡ ngỡ để thực hành một bài viết bởi vì học sinh chưa 
kịp làm quen với dạng đề này nên hầu hết đều bị “mất điểm” tại bài thi viết đoạn văn Tiếng 
Anh. Ngoài ra, nhiều em học sinh được hỏi chia sẻ rằng mình gặp phải những vấn đề trong 
bài viết tiếng Anh như thiếu từ vựng, ngữ pháp, bí ý tưởng triển khai hay có ý tưởng nhưng 
lại sắp xếp ý lộn xộn Hơn nữa, kĩ năng viết sử dụng khá nhiều trong cuộc sống, đặc biệt 
trong tiếng Anh giao tiếp, một kỹ năng thiết yếu cho các em sau này bước vào cuộc sống, 
làm việc. Chuyên đề này của tôi xin trình bày một số cách thức giúp học sinh tiếp cận và 
làm quen với hình thức viết giúp các em tự tin và đạt điểm cao hơn trong bài thi của mình. 
Vì những lý do trên, nên bản thân tôi luôn suy nghĩ tìm ra phương pháp làm sao cho các 
em dễ tiếp cận, hiểu bài để áp dụng làm bài tập tốt hơn. 
 2. Mục đích 
Giúp cho học sinh lớp 10 tiếp cận và thực hành viết dễ dàng hơn và văn phong chuẩn Anh 
ngữ hơn. 
Chia sẻ kinh nghiệm dạy học mảng viết đoạn văn cùng giáo viên để trau dồi và học hỏi 
nhiều hơn, giúp cho kỹ năng viết của học sinh hoàn thiện hơn. 3. Giải pháp 
Một đoạn văn tốt và bố cục chặt chẽ cần có câu chủ đề (topic sentence) rõ ràng có tính khái 
quát và có thể phát triển được và câu phát triển, phụ trợ cho câu chủ đề (supporting 
sentences). Những câu này có thể trình bày dưới dạng minh họa, giải thích, ví dụ để làm rõ 
cho câu chủ đề. Phần kết luận: Bài văn khép lại với đoạn văn kết luận tóm tắt lại các ý 
chính, có thể trong đó bạn nêu ra quan điểm của cá nhân, hoặc ý kiến khách quan về vấn 
đề. 
Ngoài ra, đối với học sinh đại trà thì cần hướng dẫn học sinh khai thác tận dụng đề bài để 
triển khai ý trong bài viết. 
Ví dụ như đề viết sau 
UNIT 1: 
*Đề thi 8 tuần năm 2017 – 2018 
 Write a paragraph (about 120- 140 words) about doing housework in your family. Some 
suggestions may be useful 
+ How many and who the people are in the family 
+ What responsibilities each family member takes 
+ The atmosphere in the family 
Như đề bài trên, giáo viên cần giúp học sinh chỉ ra bài viết có bao nhiêu ý chính, nội dung 
là gì, nên sử dụng từ nối nào, thì động từ là gì để học sinh có những ý tưởng cơ bản triển 
khai bài viết. 
Trong bài viết trên gv có thể cùng học sinh thảo luận một số ý chính như sau: 
+ Thì động từ: thì hiện tại đơn 
+ Có 3 ý chính cần nêu như yêu cầu đề bài 
+ Từ vựng cấu trúc liên quan chủ đề công việc nhà 
Ở phần này có thể yêu cầu học sinh liệt kê cấu trúc: 
+ to be responsible for V-ing (v) 
+ take responsibility for V-ing (v) 
+ take turn V-ing (v) 
+ willingly (adv) + help + (to) V (v) 
+ share sth with sb (v) 
Vocabulary: Household chores 
 - prepare dinner - chuẩn bị bữa tối 
 - cook(do the cooking) - nấu ăn 
 - shop - mua sắm 
 - clean the house - dọn dẹp nhà cửa 
 -take out the rubbish - đổ rác 
 - do the laundry - giặt ủi 
 - do the washing-up - giặt giũ 
 - do the heavy lifting - làm việc nặng 
 - be responsible for the household - chịu trách nhiệm về tài chính của hộ gia 
 finances đình 
 - mop / sweep / tidy up the house - lau / quét / dọn dẹp nhà 
 - bathe the baby - tắm cho em bé 
 - feed the baby - cho bé ăn 
 - water the houseplants - tưới cây trong nhà 
 - feed the cat / dog - cho mèo / chó ăn 
 - iron / fold / put away the clothes - ủi / gấp / cất quần áo 
 - lay the table for meals - dọn bàn ăn 
Tùy theo ngữ cảnh mà học sinh có thể sử dụng các từ nối khác nhau trong bài viết. 
Trong quá trình dạy giáo viên cũng có thể yêu cầu học sinh xác định về hiện tượng ngữ 
pháp trong bài viết: động từ nên sử dụng thì nào, cấu trúc trong bài viết là gì, các từ nối có 
thể dùng trong bài. Giáo viên nên để học sinh chủ động lên ý tưởng cấu trúc sau đó cùng 
thảo luận và giáo viên đưa ra nhận xét. 
Một số từ nối hữu ích cho việc viết một đoạn văn (linking words)

II. Bài viết theo chủ đề sách giáo khoa 10 tập 1 
Những bài viết dưới đây thuộc về những chủ đề gần gũi và thực tế gắn với chương trình 
trong sách giáo khoa cho học sinh lớp 10 đại trà, cách hành văn cũng tương đối dễ tiếp cận 
với học sinh phổ thông để các em có thể dần làm quen với cách viết đoạn văn giúp nâng 
cao điểm của mình trong bài thi. 
UNIT 1: 
Write a paragragh about how people in your family share housework. 
I live in a family of four: my parents, my younger sister and I. We are all very busy people: 
both my parents work, my sister and I spend most of our time at school, so we split the 
household chores equally. 
My dad is responsible for mending things around the house. He also cleans the bathroom 
twice a week.My mum does the cooking and goes to the market every day. Being the eldest 
child in the family, I share most of housework. I do the laundry, take out the rubbish, and clean the fridge once a week. My younger sister, Lan, helps mum to prepare meals and 
feeds the dog. My sister and I take turns laying the table for meals, sweeping the house, 
and washing the dishes. 
We share the housework willingly and we feel happy as everyone helps each other and we 
have more time to relax together. 
UNIT 2: 
Write a letter of giving advice on what to eat and what not to eat in each situation 
SITUATION 1: Lan is taking an exam and you give her advice. 
Dear Lan, 
Taking an exam is an important event so you should take care of what to eat. 
It is good to have high-carbonhydrate foods such as whole grains, bananas, or milk. 
Besides, you should eat food with high protein like eggs, beef, or pork. You should avoid 
food which can cause stress or sleeplessness such as coffee, tea, beer or wine. Don’t eat 
junk food or fast food and drink enough water and enjoy fresh fruits. 
Hope you will do your best.

UNIT 2: 
SITUATION 2. Tom is going to have a date with his love but his breath doesn’t 
smell good. 
TOPIC: BAD BREATH 
Dear Tom, 
Having a date with your love is an important event so you should take care of what to eat. 
It is good to have high-carbonhydrate foods such as whole grains, bananas, or milk. 
Besides, you should eat food with high protein like eggs, beef, or pork. It is important to 
avoid food which can cause bad breath like garlic or onion. You should avoid food which 
can cause stress such as coffee, tea, beer or wine. Don’t eat junk food or fast food and drink 
enough water and enjoy fresh fruits.

John is a secondary school student, and he often feels sleepy during daytime. 
TOPIC: SLEEPINESS

In your letter, you have told me that you often feel sleepy during daytime so you should 
take care of what to eat. 
It is not good to have too much high-carbonhydrate foods such as whole grains, bananas, 
or milk. Besides, you should eat food with high protein like eggs, beef, or pork in suitable 
amount. These kinds of foods are believed to cause sleepiness. You should drink coffee or 
tea to avoid sleepiness. Don’t eat junk food or fast food and drink enough water and enjoy 
fresh fruits.

Write a paragraph( about 120 words) about a famous musician or singer that you 
like. 
My Tam was born in 1981 in Da Nang. She is a famous pop singer in Vietnam. She had a 
passion for music and started learning music at an early age. Her best-known songs are 
“Hoa Mi Toc Nau, Uoc Gi and Cay Dan Sinh Vien” which became an iconic song in the 
2000s among Vietnamese students. My Tam won the bronze medal at the Asian Music 
Festival held in Shanghai in 2000. One year later, she graduated from university with flying 
colors. She was also the first Vietnamese singer to participate in the Asian Song Festival 
in Seoul, Korea. My Tam is one of the most famous pop singers in Vietnam and still 
maintains her passion for music career.

smartphone. For a better one, you have to pay more money. In short, a smartphone is

Nowadays, most people have a smartphone with them. We can use it to listen to music, 
surf the Web, or play games, etc. What are its benefits? First, anyway it is a phone, so it 
is used to communicate. You can use it to make phone rails, send & receive messages as 
a normal phone. Second, it also has functions as a game machine or a media player. It 
means that you can play games or listen to music on it. Finally, you can use it to surf the 
Web and use maps to look for places. It’s really useful when you need information right 
now or when you are lost.
