Chat GPT is a language model developed by Open AI that uses deep learning techniques to generate
human-like responses to text-based prompts or questions. GPT stands for "Generative Pre-trained
Transformer,". The GPT model is capable of generating coherent and contextually relevant responses to a
wide range of prompts, making it useful for a variety of applications, such as chatbots, language translation,
and content creation. Chat GPT gets its information from a vast corpus of text data that has been preprocessed
and used to train the model. This corpus includes a diverse range of sources, such as books, articles, web
pages, and other forms of text-based content that are available on the Internet.
However, the responses it generates can incorporate knowledge and information that it has learned
from this training data. People wonder if this tool will eliminate the majority of jobs and put a huge majority
of them out of work. The development of advanced language models like Chat GPT has led to concerns that
they could replace human workers and lead to job losses. While it is true that these models are capable of
automating certain tasks that were previously performed by humans, they are not necessarily designed to
replace human workers. Instead, language models like Chat GPT are often used to increase human labor,
enabling workers to be more productive and efficient in their roles. For example, they can be used to assist
customer service representatives by answering common questions, freeing up their time to focus on more
complex issues. They can also be used to improve the accuracy and efficiency of translation services or to
generate content for news articles, social media posts, and other forms of written content.
In some cases, the development of language models may lead to the displacement of certain jobs, but
they also offer new opportunities in fields such as machine learning, data science, and artificial intelligence. It
is important to consider the potential impacts of these technologies on the job market and to take steps to
ensure that workers are trained and equipped to adapt to these changes. Ultimately, the impact of language
models like Chat GPT on the job market will depend on how they are implemented and used in various
industries and sectors.

Lee Kuan Yew was appointed as the first prime minister of Singapore in 1959 when the nation became
one of the self-governing states. At that time, Singapore per capita income was only about USD 400. When
Lee retired in 1990, the figure was USD 11,000 and in 2014 it went up to over 56,000 even higher than that of
its former colonizer, Great Britain. In his impassioned speeches and his famous memoirs, he said “there were
also some probable opponents and they laughed at us, but I was confident that we would have the last laugh.”
Born into a middle-class Chinese family in Singapore, Lee was influenced by the language and
institutions of the British rulers. He was destined to go to the UK to study law, but the Second World War
broke out and he had to go to the local Raffles College where he learnt some economics. It was not until 1946
when he talked his way to Cambridge and graduated three years later with a starred first. It was during this
time that he nurtured ambitions beyond starting a legal career back home.
As a prime minister, he has always been described as an efficient and inventive person. He was one of
the greatest statesmen who proved to the whole world that human ingenuity, not natural resources, is the
essential element of prosperity. Lee is also believed to be very forward-looking. When Singapore gained
independence in 1965, he decided to keep English as the main language to increase economic benefits.
Although many of his policies are still considered controversial, they helped Singapore to overcome many
obstacles and become one of the most admired international business and financial centers around the world.
