I. Aims and objectives:

By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to use countries, and languages vocabulary to talk about where people are from.

III. Procedures:
	A.Warm – up: 
* Aims: To lead in new lesson.
* Result: Ss will be able to pay attention to new lesson.
Picture drill:
	- Show 8 photocopied pictures (P.154)
	- Ss look at and predict the countries.
	B.Presentation:
* Aims: Ss know more vocabulary and talk about where people are from.
* Result: Ss know vocabulary and model sentences to ask and answer about where people are from - RECOGNITION.
	1. Pre – teach vocabulary:

 C. Practice:
* Aims: Help Ss practise asking and answering about where people are from.
* Result: Ss will be able to talk about where people are from – UNDERSTANDING. 
	1. Picture drill:
	- Ss look at the pictures and work in pairs.
Example exchange:
S1: Where is Laura from?
S2: She is from Canada.
2. A2, A3/P.155:
- Ss listen and repeat.
- In pairs, ss look at the pictures at pa...sson, Ss will be able to practise in asking and answering about nationalities and languages.
- Ss can write a postcard about on being vacation.
*Language items:
- Vocabulary: postcard, (to) be on vacation, wet (adj), a lot of = many, interesting places (n)
- Grammar: present simple tense.

* Aims: Help Ss practise writing a postcard.
* Result: Ss will be able to write a postcard - HIGH –APPLICATION.
Transformation writing:

	Group 4: Postcard from China
	Group 5: Postcard from Australia

8. Post – writing: 
* Aims: Help Ss know their mistakes.
* Result: Ss will be able to know how towrite a postcard. 
- Collect some groups’ writing and correct
9. Homework:
- Study the words.
- Write postcards in notebook
