   I. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

  1. Educational aims: 

By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to write about different things they do in different seasons.

*Language items:

- Vocabulary:  Sports and Seasons (revision)

- Grammar: Adverb of frequency, simple present tense.

2. Skills: Integrated skills: Main skills: listening, speaking. 

                                               Sub-skills: writing, reading

3. Attitute: Students take part in activities and tasks in class, hard working.

4. Orientation of competence development:

- General competence: self-study, communicative and cooperative competences.

- Specific competence: Students write about different things they do in different seasons.

II. Methods, teaching techniques, teaching organization and teaching aids:

- Methods and teaching techniques: chatting, brainstorming, board drill, survey, write it up.

- Teaching organization: individuals, pairs, groups, class,…

- Teaching aids: pictures, colored chalks, workbook, handouts, sub-boards, posters,…

Lesson 1: A-VACATION DESTINATIONS (A1, 2, 3)
I. Aims and objectives:
 1. Educational aims: 
- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to talk about vacation plans by using “be going to” future, positive.
*Language items:
- Vocabulary: summer vacation (n), Citadel (n), (to) stay with someone, (to) stay for ( 2 days, a week ), uncle (n), aunt (n), (to) visit.
- Grammar : “ be going to” future, wh – questions.
2. Skills: Integrated skills: Main skills: listening, speaking 
 Sub-skills: reading, writing
3. Attitute: Students take part in activities and tasks in class, hard working.
4. Orientation of competence development:
- General competence: self-study, communicative and cooperative competences.
- Specific competence: talking about vacation plans by using “be going to” future, positive.

* Aims: Help Ss know more vocabulary and how to make plans by using “tobe going to” future.
* Result: Ss know vocabulary and how to make plans by using “tobe going to” future – RECOGNITION. 
	1.Pre – teach vocabulary:
	Summer vacation (n) (example) : kỳ nghỉ hè
	Citadel (n)	(picture) : nội thành
	(to) stay with someone:	(explanation) : ở với ai
	(to) stay for (a week) :	(example) : ở khoảng 1 tuần
Uncle (n):	(translation) : bác trai, chú, cậu
Aunt (n):	(explanation) : bác gái, cô, dì
...going to visit the Citadel.
	2. Word cue drill:

1. Mapple dialogue: A3 –p.141 (Ss prepare a dialogue with a partner, using “tobe going to” future - LOW -APPLICATION).

* Result: Ss will be able to make vacation plans by using “tobe going to” future - HIGH -APPLICATION.
